Overview

Building a Scalable Brand and Digital Experience for Growth

Teton Bagel is an established food business in Rexburg, Idaho, built around hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels baked fresh each morning. As the business looked towards its next stage of growth, the brand and website needed to work together as a clearer, more consistent system that could support both existing customers and future expansion.

Hatch refreshed the existing Teton Bagel brand, strengthening the visual identity without losing the familiarity and character customers already recognised. We developed a practical visual system and brand guidelines designed to work consistently across digital and physical touchpoints, from the website and menus to marketing materials and future locations.

Alongside the brand refresh, we designed and built a new website focused on making the customer journey simple, fast and intuitive. The experience was structured around the needs of regular customers, making it easier to find key information and move quickly towards ordering, while giving the Teton Bagel team a flexible, modular digital platform that can evolve as the business grows.

Together, the refreshed identity and website create one connected brand experience, providing Teton Bagel with a scalable foundation for future campaigns, new content, additional locations and continued business growth.

Challenge

Creating Consistency Across Brand, Website and Customer Touchpoints

The challenge was not to reinvent Teton Bagel. It was to strengthen what was already working and create a brand and digital system capable of supporting a growing food and hospitality business.

The existing identity needed enough structure to remain recognisable and consistent across very different environments. Rather than creating a restrictive brand system, we focused on developing a practical visual direction that could flex between the website, menus, promotional material and physical locations while still feeling unmistakably Teton Bagel.

We approached the website with the same principle. A strong restaurant or hospitality website needs to do more than look good. It has to support how customers actually interact with the business, particularly returning customers who may simply want to check opening information, find a location or place an order with as little friction as possible.

The website therefore combines clear information hierarchy with a flexible, modular structure that allows content to expand without compromising usability or brand consistency. Visual elements from the refreshed identity were carried directly into the digital experience, ensuring that the website feels like a natural extension of the wider Teton Bagel brand rather than a separate layer.

By considering brand identity, customer experience and website design as parts of the same growth strategy, we created a system that can continue to adapt as Teton Bagel develops. The result is a more consistent customer experience today and a stronger platform for new marketing, menu updates, new locations and future growth.
