Campaign Design Built for Every Corner of the Web
Gen Digital tasked Hatch with designing webskins for some of their most prominent consumer brands, Avast and Norton, across a range of live campaign initiatives.
Webskins are large-format display advertisements that wrap around the edges of a webpage, creating an immersive brand presence without interrupting the content itself. Across this body of work, we produced designs spanning illustration-led creative and lifestyle imagery, each shaped by the specific campaign direction it needed to serve. The result is a diverse collection of work that reflects the breadth of both brands and the range of audiences they speak to.
Every design was developed with real placement in mind, shown through in-situ mockups that demonstrate how each webskin sits within a live browsing environment, making the creative intent clear and the execution immediately legible.

Designing for a Web That Doesn't Stand Still
The challenge with webskin design is that no two vendors are the same. Different website publishers have different specifications, different size requirements, and fundamentally different rules about what their inventory will support. What works on one platform may not translate to another, and those differences can be dramatic.
Working across the Gen Digital portfolio has required us to develop a genuinely versatile approach to design. Each brief begins with an understanding of the vendor's requirements before a single creative decision is made. From there, the design adapts, whether that means rethinking the layout, adjusting how illustration and imagery are cropped and balanced, or reconsidering how the brand elements sit within a constrained or unusually proportioned format. The creative ambition stays consistent. The execution flexes to meet the brief.
