We are a truly dedicated boutique design agency, working from our purpose-built “eco-friendly” studio based in Greenwich, London. Light, fresh and vibrant, we have the perfect environment to get creative. Our location and low running costs enable us to keep our rates down,… not having †premises based within the city centre means no extortionate overheads, therefore our prices are always very competitive. Our dedicated team strive to give one-to-one attention, creating a strong working bond and a true understanding of our clients needs.

How We Work

A good design can only be as good as the initial brief. That is why, at Hatch, our first aim is to extract as much information from you as possible before the first brainstorming sessions begin. A series of ideas and concepts will be presented and discussed and a chosen direction developed, this will then be refined until the final design is signed-off. You will be kept informed at every stage of the development.

At Hatch we aim to develop an excellent relationship with you. This is done by ensuring your targets, budgets and deadlines are met. From start to finish you will be in direct contact with the designers dealing with your project, who will do whatever possible to ensure your every need is met. Our passion for design and results is obvious in all that we do.

There is open and transparent communication between all members of staff as well as a sense of nurturing. As a result we work successfully as a team. Our staff are not only hired on their skills, talents and qualifications but also on their enthusiasm, dynamism, positivity, determination and organisational skills. Continual learning programs keep staff up to date with the latest technology, trends and media, resulting in a thriving team who are always striving to improve.

Sustainability

As an environmentally aware company we provide a sustainable working environment for both employees as well as clients. The building in which we reside has a strict policy on recycling and energy use and we are extremely committed to providing an environmentally-sound office space. This encouraged our decision to choose our particular place of work.

Our office follows a daily recycling policy especially concerning paper goods. All unwanted paper is recycled along with other items such as aluminum, plastics and ink cartridges. A well-lit workspace is achieved with fluorescent light bulbs along with plenty of natural light. In order to save energy, we have not implemented any air conditioning units within our office. We also make sure our computers are put into energy-save mode when not in use and that machinery is shutdown out of office hours. Our employees are encouraged to use public transport/cycle whenever possible, and are also encouraged to carry out sustainable practices in their own homes.

We do not print any unnecessary files, we have done away with our fax machine and use emailable PDFs as our method of artwork supply where possible. Our clients have access to sustainable printing too. Our preferred print suppliers exercise environmental and sustainable policies and practices, using vegetable inks, chlorine free paper, as well as Carbon Neutral printing.

Internship Program

For over a decade Hatch have been offering work placements twice a year to students from the universities of Iowa, USA. Below are some of the kind words our new friends from across the pond have relayed back.

The Central University of Iowa has had a long and fruitful relationship with Hatch Creations Ltd. For many years Hatch has been taking US study abroad students, as interns for 15 week programmes, providing them with invaluable work experience in the field of graphic design. In feedback all students speak highly of their time at Hatch, the breadth of their experience and the skills and professionalism of the team. Long may this mutually beneficial relationship continue.
